Gallery 2025-2026

Today we celebrated International Attire Day and what a vibrant day it was! Our students came dressed in beautiful traditional outfits representing cultures from around the world. The school was filled with colour, pride, and cultural spirit.
On Thursday we held a Black History Month assembly, delivered by Ella-Grace, Dana, Salena, Lauryane, Jess, Somto, Chi, Emma, Eliza and Josh. The theme was Pride in Afro Hair, and was highly informative. Below is poems written by some of the children, we ended the assembly with an African dance to a Cameroonian song called 'Be Proud', which Ella-Grace taught them.
Yesterday, our pupils enjoyed a visit from Louis Taylor from the Road Safety Show. Through fun activities and engaging discussions, the children learned valuable lessons about how to stay safe when out and about near roads. It was an informative and enjoyable session for everyone!
What an exciting morning! Our Year 5 children were at Luckley House today (Friday 17th October), they took part in a local school football tournament! They only went on and won! COME ON YOU BEARS!
Mr Marshall, in his capacity as NCETM (National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics) Maths Specialist, led an important professional development session for 14 teachers from other schools on teaching long division. It included him talking through the process with the teachers, and then having them observe him teach long division to his Year Six maths group. It is very satisfying to know we are able to share expertise with other schools.
Charlotte in Year 4 led our annual Yom Kippur assembly with great confidence. She was very informative, helping everyone to understand the importance of the festival and its traditions.
